Ecosoft reverse osmosis filters
A reverse osmosis filter is the most advanced water purification system at the molecular level using reverse osmosis technology.
Reverse osmosis is a membrane process in which water is passed through a semi-permeable membrane capable of removing particles smaller than 0.001 microns, resulting in the removal of 99.8% of contaminants such as fluoride, chlorine, lead, organic compounds, as well as bacteria and viruses. Filter unit
The filter is a rather complex, but at the same time quite compact design. It is connected to the water supply through a special tap, to the sewer pipe and the water supply tap.
Operating principle
During the purification process, water sequentially goes through 5-6 stages (depending on the filter model), for each of which a separate cartridge is provided in the filter.
- First stage. Preliminary purification of water from mechanical impurities. Passing through a cartridge made of porous polypropylene fiber, the water is purified from particles of silt, sand, and rust.
- Second stage. Purification of water from organic and organochlorine substances, as well as chlorine. The taste, color and smell of water improves. Inside the cartridge is activated carbon in the form of granules.
- Third stage. Final purification of water from the smallest particles of mechanical impurities before the reverse osmosis membrane.
- Fourth stage. The main stage of filtration. After pre-cleaning, water enters the membrane, which reliably retains 99.8% of contaminants.
- Fifth stage. The carbon post-filter gives the purified water a light, slightly sweet taste.
- Sixth stage. The water is enriched with minerals.

- WATER QUALITY
- PRESSURE AND CONVERSION
Conversion is an important parameter for assessing the performance of a reverse osmosis system. It determines how much purified water can be obtained from the original water. This figure is given as a percentage and for household reverse osmosis filters can range from 10 to 70%.
